Products and offers
A product is the canonical item; a variant is an exact configuration; a retailer listing is one seller offer; and a deal is a time-sensitive price claim. This prevents a low price for one configuration from being shown as the price for another.
Search and filters
Search normalizes common shopping terms, spacing, and small misspellings across titles, brands, models, categories, descriptions, and structured specifications. Category filters appear only when the current products contain matching evidence, so a visible option has a real basis.
Deal verification
Server-side checks resolve the retailer URL and collect current product identity, price, stock, and category evidence. A verification label records what was checked and when; it cannot guarantee that stock or checkout price will remain unchanged.
Ranking and commercial independence
Organic order uses freshness, deal quality, verification, and community activity. Affiliate eligibility does not improve organic rank. Paid placements are separated and labelled as sponsored.
Community checks
Members can save, vote, discuss, and report deals. Community comments and votes are member opinions, not proof that an item was independently tested or that a discount is the lowest available. Report a price change or incorrect variant with the deal URL and supporting evidence.
What a price check means
A checked price is an observation at a particular time, not a promise of a future checkout price. Review any verification time and expiry shown on the deal. A missing check time is not evidence that an offer was checked today.
