Pretty solid pick for someone looking for a future proof laptop capable of handling everyday tasks, light gaming, managing small businesses. Has the Intel Ultra 7 355, arguably one of the best processors available in this range, more than capable for light AI driven tasks. The only criticism would be that the display isn't OLED or high refresh rate, but with that said, it's a practical choice for a someone looking for a budget to mid-tier laptop that shoots above it's weight class.

Acer - Swift 16 AI - Copilot+ PC - 16" 3K OLED Touchscreen Laptop - Intel Core Ultra X7 358H 2026 - 16GB Memory - 1TB Storage - Basalt Gray review discussion

This is probably the best laptop in this price range without a dedicated graphics card. Why would you want to buy this? If you're someone looking for a mid-tier laptop with a sleek body, GREAT battery life, and a beautiful display that's fit for professional use, but also has enough power to handle your hobbies like playing esports titles, doing light photo and video editing, and even playing some AAA games with optimized settings, this is the best middle ground at this price point — your real do-it-all machine.
